We were sad to recently learn of the passing of Marg Edmonds who was a beloved member of the Class of 1959. Marg sadly passed away on 10 December 2024 after a long battle with liver disease. Marg was with her daughter and sons when she gently and peacefully passed away.

Marg was a Life Member of the Anglesea Surf Lifesaving Club, and the family hosted a beautiful and happy memorial for her on Friday 17 January at the Anglesea Surf Club. It was such a great party - Marg's daughter Kellie said she would have been disappointed to miss it!! Kellie, a teacher at Mentone Girls' Grammar, also mentioned that her mum was so very fond of her time at Lauriston, which was mentioned in her eulogy, and this has been an influence on Kellie's own passion for educating girls.
