OLA Committee

OLA Committee 2025

The Old Lauristonians' Association (OLA) Committee is a passionate and dedicated group of alumnae committed to fostering lifelong connections among past students of Lauriston Girls’ School. Guided by the belief that Lauriston is truly a “school for life,” the Committee works to ensure that the bonds formed during school years continue to flourish well beyond graduation.

With a shared history fostered in the values and experiences of a Lauriston education, the Committee champions a vibrant and supportive alumnae community — one that spans generations and professions, yet remains united by common purpose and spirit.

Through close collaboration with Catherine McVean in the Alumnae Office at School, the Committee supports a wide range of initiatives, events, and opportunities that encourage meaningful engagement, professional networking, and personal connection. Together, their work ensures that every Old Lauristonian feels valued, included, and inspired to stay connected — for life.

Advancement at Lauriston

We proudly introduce you to the dedicated team behind our vibrant and far-reaching alumnae program at Lauriston. Our team works to foster meaningful connections with Old Lauristonians across the globe, delivering a rich program of reunions, professional and networking opportunities, chapter gatherings, and special events that celebrate and support our community within and beyond the school gates.

The Old Lauristonians’ Association Committee plays an invaluable role in championing our work and our program is proudly driven by specialists in educational advancement. Recognised nationally as a leading example within the Educational Advancement sector, Lauriston’s alumnae engagement is often showcased at conferences around Australia, with team members Penny and Catherine regularly invited to share insights and strategies that have made our program one of the most revered amongst schools and institutions in the Asia/Pacific region.
