We recently received sad news from Sue Matthews (OL 1985) about the passing of her beloved mother, Rosemary, on 9 December 2024. Sue fondly shared Rosemary's deep connection to Lauriston, where she dedicated 4 years to the LPA and 2 years to the Lauriston Foundation, contributing to the implementation of IB in the curriculum. Rosemary was an active member of the Old Lauristonians' Association for 6 years, instrumental in establishing the annual Careers Night for senior students, which later evolved into the Student Futures & Pathways week. In her final 2 years with the OLA, she served as President. Rosemary was a cherished Old Lauristonian who embodied Lauriston's values throughout her life. She is dearly missed by Sue and her older brothers.
