Sandie De Wolf-Gurner (OL 1966)
Former CEO Berry Street

​​​​​Sandie was a school prefect, house vice-captain and captain of Lauriston’s netball team. She has worked in the welfare field since the early 1970s, where she began working as a case worker before moving into management and policy development. In 1994 Sandie became Berry Street CEO when it merged with Sutherland Homes for Children. 2004 took Sandie to the USA on receiving a 'Harvard Club of Australia Fellowship' to attend Harvard Business School to study Non-profit Management. Following receipt of the Vida Golstein Award for Women in the Professions - Welfare in 2004 and the Robin Clark Memorial Award for Inspirational Leadership in 2008, Sandie was appointed a Member in the General Division (AM) of the Order of Australia for service to child and family welfare.
