About the Appeal

The Susan Just Legacy Appeal is a special fundraising initiative to honour Principal Susan Just’s 15 years of leadership at Lauriston Girls’ School. It allows the community to celebrate her contributions while supporting the Future Building Fund, ensuring a strong future for Lauriston as it approaches its 125th year.

All funds raised will go towards the Future Building Fund, providing the new Principal with the opportunity to embark on a meaningful project that benefits the school community.

This appeal not only honours Susan Just’s leadership and impact but also helps secure Lauriston’s future by investing in infrastructure that will benefit generations to come.

The Future Building Fund is a vital part of Lauriston’s long-term vision. It exists to ensure we can continue to create outstanding learning environments for current and future students.

This embodies the spirit of paying it forward. It will help ensure that when Lauriston’s new Principal commences in 2026, they will inherit not just a thriving school, but a community of support and generosity — ready to empower them to make an enduring impact for future generations of Lauriston students.

Every contribution is an investment in that future — creating the spaces, opportunities, and culture that will shape Lauriston girls for years to come.
